Timich is an iPhone app for browsing photos and videos stored on your Immich server.
It is designed for people who already use Immich and want a focused mobile browsing experience for their self-hosted library.

Before You Start
- Timich currently supports iPhone on iOS 18 or later.
- You need access to an Immich server that you control or are allowed to use.
- A network connection to your Immich server is required for your own library.
Getting Started
- Open Timich.
- Enter your Immich server URL.
- Choose your sign-in method.
- Sign in with your API key or your Immich account email and password.
- Browse your library from the main Photos screen.
Demo Mode
If you want to explore the app without connecting your own server, use Browse Demo Library on the sign-in screen.
Demo Mode lets you preview the main gallery experience without entering server details or personal credentials.
Troubleshooting
I cannot sign in
- Check that your server URL is correct.
- Make sure your Immich server is reachable from your device.
- If you use an API key, confirm that the key is still valid.
- If you use email and password, confirm that your Immich credentials are correct.
My library does not load
- Check your internet or local network connection.
- Confirm that your Immich server is online.
- Try signing out and signing in again.
Saving to Photos failed
- Confirm that Timich has permission to add items to your photo library.
- Make sure your device has enough free storage.

Privacy Policy
This section explains how Timich handles information when you use the app.
Data We Handle
- Server URL that you enter for your Immich instance.
- Sign-in information such as API key, email address, password, and bearer token, if you choose to sign in.
- Media metadata and media files requested from your Immich server for browsing, playback, sharing, and saving.
- Local app settings, such as whether the sign-in screen should be shown on launch.
How Data Is Used
- To connect to the Immich server that you specify.
- To authenticate your session with your Immich server.
- To load your library thumbnails, photos, and videos.
- To support sharing and saving items that you choose to export from the app.
- To keep basic local preferences on your device.
Local Storage and Caching
- Sign-in information may be stored securely on your device so you do not need to enter it every time.
- Thumbnail images may be cached locally on your device to improve scrolling performance.
- Timich uses local device storage only for app operation and performance.
Photo Library Permission
If you choose to save a photo or video from Timich to your iPhone, iOS will ask for permission to add items to your photo library.
Timich requests add-only photo library access for this feature.
Data Sharing
- Timich connects directly to the Immich server URL that you provide.
- Timich does not require an account created by the developer.
- Timich is not intended to sell your personal data.
Data Retention and Deletion
- Locally stored sign-in information can be removed from within the app by using Clear Saved Login Info.
- Cached images may remain on the device until removed by the system or replaced by newer cached data.
- If you want data removed from your Immich server, manage that data through your own Immich installation.
